Never one to shy away from utter silliness, dog and I are off to the Swanage Regatta to do a spot of camping and cream tea drinking. Unfortunately the only pace left in the car is squashed up against the back window.

This week has been very hot and for some reason the evil weatherman decided that it should rain…a lot. So we have to put up a tent on a windy hill…it might prove to be a bit of a challenge.

Today it is raining. It is raining a lot! We made it our mission today to find some sun before day’s end and we succeeded…..just. After just three minutes of sitting and admiring the water flowing and ducks quacking, we were treated to another downpour. Still at least the dog got to have a splash around. Just need to find a launderette now!
